Phamily Cares Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to helping individuals facing homelessness and recovery challenges regain stability, dignity, and independence through future sober housing and community support services
Phamily Cares Inc. is a nonprofit housing initiative dedicated to helping individuals rebuild stability, dignity, and hope during difficult life transitions. Founded by Qiya Phelps, Phamily Cares was created from both compassion and lived understanding of the barriers many people face when trying to recover from hardship in today’s economy.
We recognize a growing gap between motivated individuals who genuinely want to improve their lives and the harsh realities of housing costs, income requirements, credit barriers, and limited support systems. Too many people are working toward stability while still being denied safe and affordable housing opportunities because they do not meet traditional qualifications or lack the resources to transition successfully on their own.
Phamily Cares was created to help bridge that gap.
Our vision is to provide structured, supportive housing environments where individuals can regain footing, pursue employment, strengthen life skills, and transition toward long-term independence. We believe that stable housing is more than shelter — it is the foundation for healing, accountability, personal growth, and renewed purpose.
As someone who has personally experienced financial hardship, caregiving responsibilities, and the emotional weight of navigating instability, Qiya Phelps understands that many people are not looking for handouts — they are looking for an opportunity, support, and a fair chance to rebuild.
At Phamily Cares, we are committed to creating homes filled with compassion, structure, community connection, and hope for individuals determined to move forward despite life’s challenges
